The Ilka Jean is a mid-rise, slim fit jean that has been designed to sit just above the ankle bone. A traditional five pocket jean, the slight peached finish brings comfort while a nice amount of stretch allows for a super slim fit. Whether you choose to dress them up or down, the Ilka Jean is your new year-round wardrobe staple.

Material

70% Organic Cotton 14% TENCEL™ Lyocell 14% Polyester 2% Elastane

This soft, high stretch denim is made to last. Like traditional denim, the main fibre used is cotton; which offers a comfortable, breathable finish to the fabric. This denim also incorporates EME polyester which offers high stretch, good retention and durability.

Certified organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility. The organic cotton for this fabric was sourced from Turkey.

TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are derived from wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres have gained a commendable reputation for their environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibres with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.

This garment is made by SAITEX, a pioneer in the denim industry for leading social and environmental practices.

SAITEX is a bluesign certified denim factory, with denim washing, sewing and finishing all on-site in their facilities in Vietnam. Bluesign certification means that SAITEX is able to meet the strictest standards in the industry throughout its supply chain from chemical inputs to production. Through innovation and investment in technology such as the air-drying of jeans, they are able to make the manufacturing process more resource efficient, also recycling 98% of the water used to process garments.

Size and Fit

The jean has been designed to have a slim fit all the way through and to finish just above the ankle bone. Key fit points to check for best size are around the waist, the hip and the front and back rise.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
